First time last night that I did not participate in a Kara run, although I can use 40 more badges on my druid to get her DPS staff. I messed around on my new alt, Waldjaeger: female Night Elf Hunter, now a level 15. 🙂
Based on a recommendation by a fellow hunter friend in-game, I tamed a then-level 9 Ravager – they hang around outside of Exodar.
I love it. It does a TON of dps. I have no issues soloing (if you can call it that way) a mob 4 levels above my level.
Good thing is, my wife decided to roll another toon on our server, a Druid. 🙂 The idea is to level together. I am taking my time, skilling up things like fishing. This is fun. 🙂
Endgame has become a fairly repetitive grind (gee, ya think), and after the 27k honor points + 100 badge grind for the Lock I have become fairly burnt out on that. I decided to take a back seat in the raids this week and just let others have some fun as well. I feel like I am done proving myself: the Lock hangs around in the Top 4 DPS on the damage meters these days, the Druid has 32k armor etc etc, nothing immediate to work on right now.
Taking my time with the healer — soloing is boring as hell (Smite Smite Smite Smite SHADOW WORD DEATH), healing the 67-70 instances is not an easy feat and I started reconsidering the whole healing-bot idea. Not sure what I’ll do yet.
Sue me. I am having fun fishing Deviate Fish. Just wish the Ravager would eat fish. Gah.
